Hi, I’m Q.

My passion for working with children began at a young age. I had amazing mentors and caregivers around me who had so many wonderful tips and tricks about working with infants and toddlers. I absorbed as much from them as possible. After graduating high school, I knew that I wanted to have a career focused in early childhood, so rather than become a teacher, I decided to be a Nanny. It was a very rewarding career. However, it didn’t take long to figure out that my true happiness and confidence was working with infants. When I learned what a Newborn Care Specialist was, I knew that’s what I had to be! So after over a decade of being a Professional Career Nanny, I switched gears to devote my time to families who truly need a Mary Poppins for babies. I come in, help you build a solid foundation, provide education, help build your confidence as parents, fix the problems. But I can only stay a short duration. Once you can ride without training wheels, my work is done.

I have assisted families with preemies, twins, triplets, traveling the world, thru loss, and many other transitions. Every challenge and mistake just creates an opportunity for a new lesson to be learned. I take pleasure knowing I helped a family become the best version of themselves.

My Approach

The baby is the best teacher. I believe in respectful care and taking a practical, sustainable, child-led approach to caring for infants. While we may have a lot of grand plans for what will happen postpartum, life is not always predictable and we are not robots. I will teach you how to adapt to any situation and make the best of it.

As an experienced NCS, I help families create routines that are customized and applicable to their needs. I support open and honest communication with all of my clients. It is my desire to offer non-judgemental, evidenced based support that was designed specifically for your family, no matter what race, culture, gender, or religion.

During our time together, we will establish a routine for your baby, facilitate healthy attachment, create positive feeding goals, and promote healthy sleep habits. My goals are quite simple; to support, educate and empower!
